The New Zealand Institute of Intelligence Professionals cordially invites you to a virtual panel discussion on the challenges of delivering intelligence support during a crisis. Paul Prouse from Astro Intelligence Systems will host Jo Patterson and Kumeroa Papuni-Tuhaka for this event, which will be held online on 18th September, 1145-1230.
Jo Patterson is an experienced emergency management professional, currently dual-hatted as the Senior Intelligence Advisor for AF8, helping South Island agencies prepare for a magnitude 8 earthquake, and as the Flood Risk Management Programme Manager for Environment Southland.
Kumeroa Papuni-Tuhaka is the Intelligence Manager for the Tairāwhiti Emergency Management Office and will deliver his personal insights on delivering intelligence during a crisis, with particular reference to Cyclone Gabrielle. This discussion will offer valuable understanding and actionable insights to all those interested in the provision and use of intelligence during an emergency.
