- The Senior Advisor, Operational Systems role sits within the National Operations team of NEMA in Wellington. This team are responsible for leading the operational systems, facilities and infrastructure required to respond effectively to emergencies within New Zealand. Operational platforms in use by NEMA include information management systems, messaging and public alerting systems.
- The purpose of a Senior Advisor, Operational Systems is to:
- Build and maintain operational systems capability within NEMA
- Support the development of operational systems capability with a range of stakeholders in the public and private sectors, and with national and regional partners.
- Lead a project managing significant vendor contract renewals.
- Draw on your emergency events experience working within telecommunications or 24/7 operational organisation.
