Membership

Why become a member?

NZIIP membership offers you the opportunity to build professional networks, learn, share knowledge and contribute to making the intelligence profession the best that it can be.

Members’ meetings are held regularly in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch where the majority of our members are based. Members in other locations are encouraged to be proactive in arranging local meetings for their area.

These meetings are a great opportunity to meet with colleagues in the profession, hear their stories, share ideas, discuss the issues which we have in common and build networks which will help you in your current and future work.

You will also receive regular member-only communications, newsletters etc and get discounted rates for the annual conference.

Membership applications

If you are unsure of what level membership to apply for, please refer to Section 10 of the NZIIP rules or contact the membership coordinator for assistance.

Membership is on an annual basis, from date of joining.  Each member requires approval before payment is requested or accepted.  A one-off $50 joining fee applies.
