I am excited to announce a refreshed strategy for the New Zealand Institute of Intelligence Professionals. When we were established, it was for the purpose of fostering collaboration between individuals and organisations who contribute to the intelligence industry within New Zealand. In the 16 years since we were formed, that purpose remains not only relevant, but also critical for the success of the profession as a whole.
To better enable us to achieve our purpose, we have invested heavily in terms of both time and money to update our technical systems. The relaunch of this website is the final part of that project, and I hope you can take time to explore everything we have to offer. We welcome all feedback and suggestions for further improvements – you can send this to info@nziip.org.nz.
Recent legislative changes mean that all our members have to actively agree to be added to both our membership database and our mailing lists. If you are an existing member and wish to set up your account, please go to this link. If you want to find out more about the benefits of membership, you can do so here. If membership isn’t for you, but you wish to keep up with industry news and events, you are welcome to join our mailing list.
The new site also uses a different payment system and so all existing direct debits will be cancelled – those who are affected will be notified in person when their account details are issued.
As well as the website, we also have active LinkedIn and Facebook pages. We’ll use these to post details of events and to share news items that are relevant to the sector.
Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support. Our mission is to achieve a connected and skilled intelligence community, and we rely on the input and engagement of our members to achieve this. As we embark on this new chapter, your thoughts on our organisation’s relaunch are both important and greatly anticipated.
